Am I eligible for NEET 2018?

Age Limit

The applicant should also have done the age of 17 years as on or before December 31st 2017.  Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of V years for the applicant of Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes (SC / ST / OBC). There is no attempt limit till the age of 25th years.

Exception – Applicants from the states of A.P, J&K and Telengana are not eligible for the 15% All India Quota as these states opted out of All India scheme except for admission into AFMC, Pune (Full list below).

Percentage Criteria:

  1. X + II or HSC with 50 percent marks for General Category i.e. the Students must have passed Phy, Chem, Bio / Biotech.. and mini.. of 50 percent aggregate in above subjects.
  2. X + II or HSC with 40 percent marks for OBC / SC / ST Category i.e. and the student must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotec.. and mini. of 40 percent aggregate in above subj..
  3. Qualifying marks for PH / PWD Category and the student is 45 percent marks for General-PH and 40 percent for SC-PH / ST-PH / OBC-PH student with locomotory disability of lower limbs.
  4. No. of attempts: There is no attempt limit till the age of 25 years

NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted every year in the month of May by the CBSE Board at a national level.
